Workshop Rationale and Objectives

This Paper Development Workshop (PDW) seeks to provide developmental and collegial support to advanced PhD students and early career scholars conducting research in organization studies, grounded in social science traditions.

The PDW is designed to help participants:
-
strengthen the theoretical contribution and positioning of their manuscripts
-
refine framing, argumentation, and journal fit
-
articulate future research directions and agendas building on their ongoing work
-
gain first-hand insight into the editorial and review processes of leading journals, particularly Organization Studies and Organization Theory

A distinctive aim of this PDW is to support scholars working from and on Latin American and other emerging contexts, fostering dialogue between local empirical realities and global organization theory debates without reducing such contexts to mere empirical sites.
