It is recognized as one of the world's highest impact management journals through inclusion in the Financial Times' list of leading journals. OS is the official journal of EGOS, the European Group for Organizational Studies.
Since 2010 the OS Workshop has been sponsored by Sage in order to help attract talented scholars from diverse regions of the world, consistent with the editorial mission of Organization Studies. The OS Workshops are usually linked to a special issue of Organization Studies on the same topic.
EGOS (http://www.egosnet.org) is a scholarly association which aims to further the theoretical and/or empirical advancement of knowledge about organizations, organizing and the contexts in which organizations operate. It has an associated journal – Organization Studies – and holds an annual conference (EGOS Colloquium) in July.
